India White is a motivational speaker, best-selling international author, and consultant on educational issues. Audiences learn from my hardships and triumphs in life. India was a former homeless student, kicked out of my house on Christmas Eve at the age of 16. She was named Teacher of the Year in two counties while publishing 20+ books, being an Assistant Principal, and business owner in Florida. As a McKnight doctoral fellow, she aspires to impact education as a transformational leader.
As a Gates Millennium Scholar and McKnight Doctoral Fellow, and Take Stock in Children Alumna and Mentor, India have used her platform to pay it forward as an educational example while helping to raise millions of dollars in scholarships for at-risk students.
She inspires people who want to be known as overcoming, impactful and dynamic leaders. Women leaders in education, business and ministry are attracted to her message and influence. As a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and National Alliance of Black School Educators (N.A.B.S.E), India presents talks at various colleges to help provide knowledge and skills to other educational leaders.
As a licensed minister of the Apostolic faith, India imparts wisdom and love at various churches, women’s conferences and study groups. She loves to balance out her walk with God with paying it forward as a leader.
She is the only one in her family with a college education out of 10 siblings. As a doctoral student at the University of Florida, she is consumed with helping others persist through college. As she pursues higher education, she continues to write quality books that provide wealth for every person. Her books include “How to Overcome Obstacles from Your Past”, “Success in a Book”, “I survived It”, “In Her Shoes: Women of Faith”, and “From Employee to Entrepreneur.”
She doesn’t just talk the talk; she is a Rockstar.
